Norms of Ritual CEFLURIS

Part 1: Rituals and Spiritual Works

Recommendations for Participants in the Works

The occasion of our spiritual works and the communion with our sacrament is the highest point of our daimist faith.

The principal recommendations to start our spiritual session can be summed up in three sentences:

1) Ethical behavior, which must be consistent with what the Doctrine prescribes in its hymns.

2) Search for both inner reconciliation as outer with brothers and sisters, with whom there may be a misunderstanding.

3) Sexual abstinence three days before and three days after each work.

The Hall

The most important symbol of our spiritual work is our Hall (Salão), our Church. It is the sacred space and sacred place where we praise God, the saints, the prophets and the beings of the universe.

The Hall of Work is a space which, once it is consecrated and respected by the members of the Church, becomes a temple, "a centre for emission and reception all that is good, joyful and prosperous."

The Hall must have preferably the shape of a six-pointed star, and likewise the table. On the table must stand the Holy Cross, principal symbol of the Doctrine of Mestre Irineu, and at least three lighted candles, which symbolize the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars. Also a fourth candle should be placed in honor of all the divine beings and spiritual guides of the Doctrine.

In works of purification and of cura, where there is a lot of releasing, and discharging, a candle is used underneath the table.

The Hall must be kept in order and clean, and arranged in accordance with the purpose of the work. In the festive and official hinário one can place flowers, ribbons and diverse decorations.

Pictures and photographs of guides, saints and masters can be displayed in the Hall.

Opening of the Works

The traditional form with which the majority of our spiritual works is opened, consists of the sign of the cross, followed by one lord's Prayer and Ave Maria and the Key of Harmony, in the case of rituals that start with the Oracão; and three Lord's Prayers and three Ave Maria’s in the case of official hinário’s.

Rosary

We distinguish two kinds of Rosaries in the spiritual works, namely:

1- The rosary with which the official hinário’s with white farda are opened, prayed 30 minutes before the opening of the hinário, with the participants standing around the the Holy Cross. In general it is led (puxado) by the female commander. The Rosary is opened with a Credo, Lord's Prayer, three Ave Maria’s and:

"Glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, now and forever and always. Amen.”

These same words are repeated after each round of the Ave Maria's and one lords Prayer.

2- The Rosary of the Souls is prayed every first Monday of the month, and at the opening of the ritual of the Santa Missa. It is done in blue farda, in the church, estrela, chapel or cemetery

The Rosary is prayed in the same way, adding between the Lord's Prayer and the Ave Maria's the prayer “Oh! My Jesus, forgive me! Deliver me from the fire of hell! Lift all the souls to heaven and help especially those who need it most!"

Oração

The oração is normally done at 6.30 pm, either in the church or at home. There must always be a spiritual point with at least one candle burning and a Cruzeiro (or Cross). Musical instruments may be played and, at Sundays, one can dance.

In the church blue farda must be worn (without tie) and at home the use of farda is not obligatory.

The opening is with one Lord's Prayer, one Ave Maria and the Key of Harmony. After this the following hymns:

Pad. Sebastião 71 Examine a conciência

Pad. Sebastião 86 A meu Pai peço firmeza

Pad. Sebastião 88 Eu vivo com meu Mestre

Pad. Sebastião 93 É pedindo e rogando

Pad. Sebastião 97 Dem-dum

Pad. Sebastião 105 Aqui eu vou expor

Pad. Sebastião 108 Eu vou rezar para tudo mundo ver

Pad. Sebastião 118 Par ester junto a este Cruzeiro

Pad. Sebastião 139 Não creias mestres que te aparecem

Pad. Sebastião 145 Meu Pai peço que Vós me ouça

Pad. Sebastião 147 O amor é para ser distribuido

Pad. Sebastião 152 Eu não sou Deus

Pad. Alfredo 82 Eu pedi e tive um toque.

Note: Hymn nr 86 of Padrinho Sebastião is sung while standing and without instruments. Hymn nr 152 of Padrinho Sebastião is sung standing and two times.

To close the Oracão: one Lord's Prayer, one Ave Maria. Prece de Carita, one Hail Holy Queen.

The leader of the work says: "Praised be God in the highest", the assistants respond with: "And forever be praised our Mother above all humanity

Hinário

The most important works of our spiritual line of doctrine are the hinário’s of the official calendar. After the rosary, the fardado's have to wait for the call of the opening of the distribution of the Santo Daime. After this they have to go to their places for dancing, while the fiscals and also those in charge of the period of the service go to their sections.

After the fardado's, the civilians drink the Santo Daime and take their places, either on the benches or on the last places of the line of dancing, behind the fardado´s.

All have to stay on their places. The fardado may only leave the Hall for the period of three hino's. The absence must be told to the companion standing at the right side in the line. If possible, one has to wait until the end of the hino before leaving. If the absence takes longer than this said period, the line has to be filled in from the left to the right.

The Dance

The dancing lines must be arranged according to the height of the participants. The rectangles available for dancing must measure approximately 70 by 30 cm.

The head of the table faces towards the entrance of the Hall, which is in general to the east. The men stand at the left of the head of the table, and the women at the right. Seguem se the young men and the young women, the girls and the boys.

The section of the children, as it always more empty, receives also visitors on days the Church is fuller.

The dance comes in three basic types: waltz (beat I to I), March (2 to 2) and mazurka (triple time).

The dance begins after the first strophe of the hymn, from the movement of the commander, who takes the first step to the left.

The dancing must follow the beat of the music, without slowing down or accelerating the dance is also a display window of the spiritual work of each of us. Grimaces and exaggerated movements must be avoided, as they distort the pattern as presented by the current. It is necessary that there is tolerance in instructing the new people to adapt themselves to the pattern.

The maracá must be in tune in a supportive way. In theory, every fardado should have a maraca. One must know how to play it adequately within the rhythm that the hino requires. The command of the work might limit the number of maracás, if they feel it is better.

The Music

The musicians must try together with the ritual commission of their church to promote exercises and studies of the most important hinário’s, in order to present a good integration and harmony in the Hall. There must be a continuous refining of sounds and of harmonies. It would be good if there were a person responsible for the quality of the music, advising the leader of the work.

The Singing

The hymns are normally started by the command of the work, or directly by the puxadoras who must be sure in tune, appropriate for each of the hymns.

Each member has the same responsibility to study, know and memorize all the hymns, to be able to contribute during the hinário’s to the brilliance of the spiritual current. Moreover one needs to meditate on the teachings of the hymns and practice them in daily life.

The Serving of the Santo Daime

In the case of the hinário's, lines must be formed of fardado's by height, the men at the left and the women at the right. After come the non-fardado’s and the visitors.

The distribution of our sacramental drink has three important aspects to be observed.

1) The person responsible for the serving.

Being one of those most important moments of our eucharis, the one who is doing this work must be concentrated and offer our sacrament with reverence and all respect. He drinks the dose that was indicated by the leader of the work and after this goes on with serving.

The dose is in accordance with a pattern, which depends on the kind of work and on the grade of the drink. It would be good if the responsible person was familiar with the whole process of Feitio.

The dose is equal for all.

The one responsible for serving must have experience and sensitivity to know occasionally who needs to drink more or less Daime. He must also be informed by the reception or by the cura-group about cases of illness, pregnancy or others that can need a different procedure

There must be care taken for the utensils, for the cleaning of the glasses, and always keep a candle lighted at the point of serving.

2) The form of consecrating and participating in the communion of our sacrament is so important that Mestre Irineu has called it Daime (from the verb dar, to give, give me). .He emphasized with this the character of inner invocation and prayer with which all must approach the Holy Beverage, asking that she allows us "the realization of our most intimate aspirations", the healing of our physical, mental and spiritual illnesses and a deeper insight into our life.

We make the sign of the cross, receive the glass and drink the offered dose to the last.

3) The measure of the dose applied by the leader must be based on the official standard of Mestre Irineu, taking into account the grade of the Daime. It is important to emphasize that mastery in leading a spiritual work is not always resulting from raised doses, but in principle from the knowledge and correctness of the leader, the harmony and the balance of his actions and the force of his invocations. Obviously in Star-works, healing-works and concentration bigger doses are necessary.

The current

The current is the spiritual force of the work. It is the effort and energy-invested by everyone so that the communion of all with the sacrament is invested with profound spiritual result. The dancing and the music generate an energy that is channeled by the vibrations of the maracá. All this propitiates an inner work of spiritual uplift and expansion of consciousness, which supports the mirações, the insights and diverse teachings that occur during the work with every member of the current. The hymns guide our ritual expedition. They awaken, encourage, advise and instruct us so that we may be able to make our inner dive, always within the protection of the current The firmeza of the current rests within the firmeza and consciousness of every brother and sister and his/her obedience to the rules of the work.

Fiscalisation

The norms of localization are a set of rules, which must be carefully observed for a good progress of the work. All the fardado members must, with the assistance of the more experienced, take part in the different jobs of fiscalisation

The principal sections are:

• COMMANDER. LEADER OR PRESIDENT OF THE TABLE. Responsible in general for the spiritual work

• COMMANDER OF THE MEN'S WING

• COMMANDER OF THE WOMEN'S WING

They take care of the order in the line, the harmony of the current, correctness of the dancing and they also take care of the candles, incense and water.

• FISCALS OF ATTENDANCE (MAN AND WOMEN).

In charge of watching over the passagens of those brothers and sisters, who need support to pass through their spiritual experience.

• FISCAL OF THE COURTYARD

In charge of the activities and attendance in the court of the Church. He also receives the persons which are brought outside by the fiscal of the hall, and vice versa.

• DOORKEEPER

Watches over the door, the entrance and exit of the Church Checks where each one leaving the work is going, and inquires after the motives when necessary He is the intermediary between the fiscals of the hall and of the courtyard.

• STAND-BY

As stand-by is considered every one of the different fiscals, who even when not having his turn, is ready to be called for any emergency.

• DUTIES AND FORMINGS OF FISCALS.

The staff of fiscalisation must function on a basis of turns of two hours in centers with less people available one can have larger or permanent turns the training and preparation of the fiscals must be continuous. The good fiscal must be serene, gentle and at the same time persuasive and firm when it is about solving problems and situations that bring harm to the harmonious flow of the work.

He must be utmost discrete in his actions and appearance, full of attention and good-will, in the first place with those brothers who may be passing some discipline of any other kind of difficulty.

If there should be some more serious problem, which goes beyond his control and authority, he must notify the command of the work.

Vivas! The vivas must always be given by the president of the table commander of the work or a person in advance assigned by the command.

The one, who gives them, must be standing, prefer-ably in front of the Cruzeiro. With him we pay respect to the celebration of the day. (All can respond to the vivas, especially the men's side.) They must be avoided in trabalho's de cura and the Concentration, during the hinário’s before the Confissão is sung, and on Good Friday and All Souls' Day. We can celebrate the elements of nature, the dono de hinário, which is currently sung, churches or communities, visitors and people having their birthday.

Obligatory sequence of the vivas

O Divino Pai Eterno, a Rainha da Floresta, Jesus Cristo Redentor, o Patriarca São José, todos os Seres Divinos, o Nosso Mestre Império, toda Irmandade, o Santo Cruzeiro.

Intervals

In the official hinário’s must last one or two hours, maximum. During this period the appointed fiscals must stay attentive in the Hall to help those brothers that are still in work, and guarantee an atmosphere of silence and harmony.'

Concentration

The Concentrations must be held every 15th and 30th of the month. The work of Concentration is a part of the official calendar. In this work twice a month, we search, by means of silence, for the connection with our inner Being and a greater awareness of our Higher Self.

It is also in the Concentrations that we can give ourselves in a relaxed way to the miração and receive valuable teachings for following our spiritual path. The concentration is divided in two stages:

A) Concentration in the proper sense, which consists of mental discipline to put an end to thoughts, associations with ideas and impressions of daily life, in order to focus on one single point. In concentration we train the attention and introspection, so that the mind, instead of becoming a focus of distraction, may be a useful instrument for the service of the spiritual work.

B) Meditation - Higher stage of concentration. In this stage, within the force of the current, of the spiritual energy of the elevated minds and of the protection of our spiritual guides, we try to attain a state of contemplation, of complete rest, serene and without thoughts, in which we attempt to merge the observer, the observed and the act of observing into one.

The fardado’s must wear blue farda. All must try to find a comfortable bodily posture, avoiding unnecessary movements, and only leaving the hall for necessary cleansing.

The ritual starts with three Lords Prayers and three Ave Maria's, Key of Harmony, serving of the Santo Daime and Oracão.

After the Oracão the Consecration of the Space must be read and then the Concentration starts. The first part must be of total concentration for a period of at least one up to two hours.

After the second serving the Concentration must continue for the same period, in which the silence may be alternated with hymns that are authorized by the leader of the session. The following hymns are suggested as the ones to be sung in the second part of the Concentration:

Firmeza (Padrinho Sebastião)

Eu estou fiime com meu Jesus (Padrinho Sebastião)

Aqui estou dizendo (Padrinho Sebastião)

As Tábuas de Moisés (Padrinho Sebastião)

Todos devem procurar (Germano Guilherme)

Firmado em Concentracão (Padrinho Alfredo)

Eu peço a meu Pai (Padrinho Sebastião)

São João na Terra (Padrinho Sebastião)

Chamo a Força (Mestre Irineu)

Chamo o Tempo (Mestre Irineu

Reading of the Decree of Service of Mestre Irineu is obligatory. On this Decree of 1970 all the principles and rules are based, which must show in the behavior of every Daimista The text must be read in its entirety at a solemn moment during the Concentration.

“DECREE OF MESTRE IRINEU”

(Centro de Irradiação Mental Luz Divina)

Decree of service for the year 1970.

The President of the Centre of irradiance of Divine Mental Light, Senhor Raimundo Irineu Serra using his legal rights decrees:

General Staff, the members of this House stay by definition under the obligation to maintain the reverence and peace of the House, thus living to the norms of sincerity and respect with his fellow man.

Within the General Staff there cannot be intrigues, hate, misunderstanding how insignificant it may be, all who drink this Holy Beverage must not only try to see beautiful and nice things, without correcting their faults, but give shape to perfection of their own personality to take their place in this battalion and follow this line. If they would act this way, they could say, I am brother.

Within this equality everyone will have the same right, in case of illness, a group will be appointed for the benefit of the brother in need.

On the days of work:

All who may come to search for physical, moral or spiritual remedies (help) must always bring with them a healthy mind, full of hope, imploring the Infinite Eternal Spirit of the Good and the Virgin Sovereign Mother Creator, that their desires may be realized according to their merits.

To begin our meditation:

After the serving of Daime, all will go to their respective places, with exception of the women with children. These will have to give shelter to their children.

Continuing our meditation:

When the time of the interval has passed, when the first call is given, all must place themselves in good shape, both the men’s and the women's battalion, because all have the same obligation and who has obligation… The truth is that the centre is free, but who takes responsibility, must account for it, nobody lives without obligation and who has an obligation, has always a duty to fulfill.

For us to reach the most important goal it is necessary to work together in the most profound silence in the harmonious settings of the work; no-one will be allowed to speak during the time of Concentration or in the period of the hinário, including the leaders themselves, with the exception of passing on a command from one to the other.

It is also recommendable to read messages, teachings, scriptures and sacred texts of recognized spiritual value. By way of exception some hinário can be done during the second part of the Concentration.

After the second part of the Concentration, the Cruzeirinho of Mestre Irineu and, occasionally, the Nova Jerusalem of Padrinho Sebastião, can be sung. The ritual will be closed as normal.

Healing Works

The healing-works comprehend different kinds: Star-work, Healing-circle, Saint Michael and Cross-work. In the time of Mestre Irineu the healing-works were basically of Concentration. Besides these listed ones, other hymns can be sung, always in accord with what the work itself requires. In some cases other hinarios can be opened, which also are used for healing as is the case mainly with the hinários of Joao Pedro, Tetê and the Departed ( Antonio Gomes, Maria Damião, Gcrmano Guilherme, João Pereira).

The current of healing requires total concentration and attention on the goal of the work, so that the patients may give themselves with complete faith to the spiritual unravelling of their visions about the sickness, the understanding of their karmie causes and the transformations that are required for the healing to occur and to maintain itself. The opening is as normal: Oração, Consecration of the Space, short concentration and beginning of the Hinário de Cura. The blue farda is used, the people sit around the Cross. The table is formed normally by 7, 9, or 12 persons, the president of the table included.

The beneficiaries must not sit directly at the table, but can be accommodated at special places (the healing-room) always near the table of work As is usual men and women sit separately The healing-mediums in service can move around to attend the patients, always in accord with the authorization of the president of the table. Besides the mediums must be present in the Star one fiscal of the hall and one of the courtyard, and also someone to serve the Santo Daime (not necessarily the president of the table). Musical instruments, including maracas, must be avoided when there is no adequately trained group. The hymns must be well in cadence, alternated with a pause, to the discretion of the leader of the session.

It is practice to do the first serving of the Santo Daime before the Oração. a second after the concentration or at the beginning of the Hinário de Cura. And still a third optional serving with the hymn "O Daime" of Padrinho Alfredo later on.

During the servings the following Daime-hymns must be sung:

Padrinho Alfredo () Daime é o Daime

Maria Brilhante Graças a Deus aonde estou tem Daime
Luiz Mendes O Lindo Daime
Tetéo Tomei Daime com meu President

Tetéo O Daime me balançou

To close we sing the Cruzeirinho of Mestre Irineu, after which follow the prayers for closing, including the Prayer of Charity.

The president of the table must ask, in case it is necessary, that the patients remain in the Star after the closing of the work - attended by a fiscal - to have more advantage of the received benefits.

It is appropriate that the places where the healing-works take place have suitable accomodation to receive the patients.

Star-works

Under this denomination are united all works that are done in the Star-House, which even when having a definite healing-character, has also the purpose of teaching and exercise of the hinarios, opening of the Banca, or other kinds of work like those to reunite young people, men or women of the daimist communities.

It is opened in the same way as the healing-work and is closed with the Cruzeirinho of Mestre Irineu.

Work of Saint Michael

This is a Healing-work and spiritual cleansing which is done for the benefit of the whole current. The structure of the ritual is like a Star-work. The participants must wear the blue farda.
The decision for carrying out this work depends on the authorization of the Doctrinary Council of CEFLURIS. It is necessary' to have an accredited healing-team

Either only one work can be done, or a series of three works, with an interval of at least two days between them.

Normal opening with three Lord's Prayers, three Ave Maria's, Key of Harmony, Oração and then hymn nr. 29 of Hinário Mestre Irineu - "Sol, Lua, Estrela" - is sung three times, while standing.

At this moment three candles must be placed on the table, in addition to the usual ones.

Next the Consecration of the Space; Prayer for the Opening of the Meeting (Prece para a Abertura da Reimauo), Prayer for the Mediums (Prece para os Mediums).

The opening of the Banca, which is done after the Prayer for the Mediums, must be done in the name of Professor Antonio Jorge and Dr. Bezerra de Menezes, who were the spiritual guides of Padrinho Sebastião. Usually hymn 107 of Alex Polari (A Chave de Justiça) is used for the invocation for the opening of the Banca and in the course of time diverse hymns can be sung, by preference the ones that refer to Saint Michael.

On the high point of the work Hymn n" 98 - "Com o Poder do Ceu" – of Padrinho Alfredo is sung three times consecutively. The officiant reads the "Prayer to dismiss the evil spirits"(Prece para afastar os maus espiritos) and closes the Banca. In case the Banca is not opened, after the Prayer for the Mediums is done the invocation of Saint Michael (O Poder do Céu).

Next are sung in sequence the Hymns no. 6, 22, 47, 63, 100, 101, 115, 123, 134, of the Hinário of Padrinho Sebastião. Follow the Hymns no.30 of Mestre Irineu, and no.99 of Padrinho Alfredo. Directly afterwards comes the Cruzeirinho of Mestre Irineu.

The officiant reads the "Prayer for Closing of the Meeting" (Prece para a Encerramento da Reuniao) and all join in praying three Lord's Prayers, three Ave Maria's (alternately), one Credo, and Hail Holy Queen.
Closing on behalf of Juramidam.

Healing-circle

This is a work, which is normally done by the healing-group of a certain Church. It can be done in the patients own house The participants use the blue farda. The oração is sung, a short concentration for the benefit of the patient is done and afterwards a part of the complete Hinário of Healing is sung.

Cross-work

This work must be accomplished at the Star-house and it depends on the management of the centre or on the healing-group when it is done. It is a work of exorcism and dis- obsession for the spiritual aid of people who show a clear change for the worse in their habitual behavior, are possessed or display a overall state of serious mental disturbance. It is done in a series of at least three, at the maximum nine works, always on consecutive days. Preferably they must be carried out at noon though in special situations one may start at 6.00 AM, 4.00 PM or 6.00 PM.

At the table must sit the mediums, while the beneficiary (-ies) stay in the second line, always accompanied by a fiscal. The table of work may consist of 3, 5,7or 9 people. The composition of the table of work must be the same throughout all the works of one series. As for the beneficiary(-ies), by preference he (they) must be present at the work, but the work can be done at distance with only three people at the table, (required is that (he beneficiary person stays in concentration at the same time).

All who participate in the work must arrive at the Star-house about 30 minutes before it begins, drink one adequate dose only and wait in concentration for the set hour to start the work.

All the participants remain standing. Those who form the table hold in their right hand a burning candle and in their left a small Cross. Likewise must the beneficiary(-ies) have the candle and the Cross in their hand. The work is opened with a Hail Holy Queen, and the officiant proceeds with reading the "Prayer to Conjure the Spells(misdoings) of the Evil Spirits and of the Infernal Demons" (Oração para Conjurar os Malefietos dos Maus Espíritos e dos Demônions Infernais) At the moments indicated by the officiant all must make the sign of the cross Next are sung the hymns "Linha do Tucum", no. 108 of the Hinário of Mestre Irineu (three times), and "Vou receber minha Mãe", no. 27 of the Hinário of Padrinho Alfredo (two times). The officiant reads the prayer of closing, one Hail Holy Queen is prayed and the work is closed with 'Praised be God in the highest And our Mother, most holy Mary, above all humanity Amen"

After finishing we recommend that all remain sitting, while hymns of instruction, discipline or correction, of petitions for the benefit of the souls and the suffering can be sung.

It is a work that was practized by Mestre Irineu, in the majority of cases, for people that showed mental problems. Due to the delicacy of this subject, it is recommended, both in the indication and in the execution of the work, to have the attendance of the responsible person of the health-sector and to observe the institutional and regimental norms, precautions that must surround every case in which the spiritual problem of the patient passes for some mental derangement.

Feitio (preparation, making)

The preparation of the Santo Daime is one of the most important works of our Doctrine because it is, besides the material preparation of our sacred drink, also a real spiritual alchemy.

At the other hand it must always represent a point of meeting and unity of the followers of the Brotherhood for the benefit of the realization of the Santo Daime.

The main characteristic of a feitio is that the inner spiritual work and the miração are superimposed on the intense physical and mental work. The most profound silence is necessary, just as attention on the work in progress and a complete availability for the many tasks that are required of each one. The feitor (maker, foreman) the master of the furnace, is responsible both for the material and for the spiritual part of the feitio. To him falls the responsibility for the grades of purification of the Santo Daime, and likewise the co-ordination of the different sections of the work, both of men and women.

The jobs of the men are: searching, cutting and transport of the cipo, harvesting the leaves (which can also be done by the women), scraping, beating and furnace, which consists of purifier (apurador), pot-men, fireman, firewood, water and cleaning.

The jobs of the women are: kitchen, cleaning of the leaves, washing of the vessels. During the cleaning of the leaves hinarios may be presented Santo Daime is served during the work.

Each work must be carried out with an attitude of positive mental vibration and within an harmonious current.

The serving of the Santo Daime is done at times set by the person that is responsible for the feitio, who also gives the calls and authorizes the singing of hymns.

It is habit to sing hinarios at the mouth of the furnace. When they are sung during (he beating they must be drawn (puxudo) in the rhythm of the beating. During the work with the leaves and the hinários at the mouth of the furnace, inside of the Feitio-house women may only enter three days after their monthly period.

It is of essential importance to take great care for cleaning, hygiene and sterilization of all the vessels and containers that are used in the work. The Santo Daime must be bottled within these norms, its grade, date and moon of production noted down.

The Feitio-houses existing in the Churches, as well as the Jagube and Rainha gardens, are administrated by CEFLURIS. All Santo Daime is property of CEFLURIS. to be distributed to the centers and affiliates, who have the obligation the keep register of their consumption.

This ceremony is only done after the closing of the Work of the Holy Kings (Epiphany), 5/6 January.

It is the moment at which each fardado will make the balance of his spiritual activities during the year that is being closed.

Part of this balance are his attendance and the observed changes (benefits, teachings or discipline which he has received) The brotherhood must be alerted to make this investigation of conscience in the days that precede the work of Three Kings. Before the actual ceremony is initiated,

the commander of the work may request all present to take a moment of concentration, to have a clearer idea of the giving-back (entrega), which each fardado is going to make.

The president of the centre chooses among the oldest members of the brotherhood those who will receive the works of the others The people that are appointed to receive the works, stay seated inside the Hall of the Church The fardados approach individually, salute, with the left hand and standing erect affirm: " In Holy Peace of God I have received my works. In Holy Peace of God I hand over my works with or without changes." The person (-s) charged with the reception of the works may request greater clarification about the quality of the observed changes and greater details about them.

During the ceremony is sung the hymn "Oferecimento" of Mestre Irineu (no 25) - as many times as is necessary or, as further possibility, hymn no 23 of Padrinho Alfredo

When the entregas are done, the people appointed for the reception of the works of the brotherhood will give back their own works.
